1. Biography

Academic qualification and work experience

Constance Ayabei is a researcher and a lecturer of international relations. She is holds M.A in international studies, B.A in international relations and a Post-Graduate Diploma in mass communication from University of Nairobi. She has over six years teaching experience at the university level. Ms. Ayabei has published several articles and presented at various international conferences. She has experience in international affairs having worked at Kenya Television Network and Reuters news agency as a researcher. She has learnt several languages amongst them French, German and English which link directly to her research interests in the field of international relations. Her current research looks at the conflicts and emerging issues in the Horn of Africa with special focus to Somalia conflict.

Currently, she is pursuing her doctorate studies in Political Science with special interest in foreign policy and international terrorism.

She is a member of African Studies Association (ASA), Conférence Mondiale des Institutions Universitaires Catholiques de Philosophie (COMMIUCAP) and   Christian Scientific Association of  Kenya (CSAK). Her publications are available in the Research Gate, LinkedIn and Google Scholar.
