Academic Qualifications

A holder of Doctor of Philosophy in Kiswahili from Moi University (2013), a Master of Arts in Kiswahili from Egerton University (2005) and A Bachelor of Education from Moi University (1994) 

Work experience

I have over 24 years teaching experience having taught Kiswahili at university and high school levels. Currently a Senior lecturer of Kiswahili at Rongo University. Previously taught Kiswahili at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, University of Eastern Africa, Baraton, as well as a teacher with the Teachers’ Service Commission (TSC)

Honours and Awards

Got a grant to attend three weeks training on research Methodology for PhD students, organized by the Organization for Social Science Research in Eastern and Southern Africa (OSSREA) at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia between 2^nd and 18^th May 2011.  Also honored to attended an Institute organized by Council for Development of Social Science Research in Africa, CODESRIA, in Dakar Senegal, theme between 7^th and 25^th February 2011
