Department of Social Sciences

Welcome to the Department of Social Sciences (DSS). The department is keen to connect with prospective post-graduate, undergraduate and diploma students as well as collaborating with various institutions across the world. At the department, we   hold ourselves to high academic standards in line the overall   vision and mission of the University as well as striving to imprint a global imprint of excellence in our academic endeavours.

The department of Social Sciences offers diverse programs at diploma, undergraduate and post-graduate levels. At Diploma level, the department offers diploma in Social work. At the undergraduate level, the department runs three programs. These are bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration, Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. At post-graduate level, the department offers master of Arts in Sociology, master of Arts in Public Administration and public policy and Doctor of Philosophy  (Ph.D.) in Sociology.
